UNCTION TO FUNCTION

THE PURPOSE OF THIS PRAYER

 This prayer is meant for those who desire to function effectively in the capacity where God has called them. When God calls and assigns, He also equips. He knows the difficulty and the many challenges of our task  (Hebrews 4:15) and our dependence on Him to operate. The Lord declared that without Him, we could do nothing (Jn 15:5). But with Him, we can do all things (Phil. 4:13), for with God, nothing is impossible (Matt. 19:26; Lk 1:37).

Right from the Old Testament times, God has always empowered His servants with the Holy Spirit to enable them to perform (e.g. Judges 3:10; 6:34; 11:29; 14:6, 14:19, 15:14). In the New Testament, the anointing of Christians is also by impartation of the Holy Spirit enabling them to accomplish their Christian life and ministry (2 Cor. 1:21-22; 1 John 2:20, 27). Hence, when Jesus commissioned His disciples to preach to all nations beginning from Jerusalem, He immediately told them: “Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.” (Lk 24:47, 49; Acts 1:4, 8). The Holy Spirit is the unction to function.

It was after the disciples received the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost that they were able to make an impact in society. To function effectively in life and ministry, we need this unction to function. So if you desire to be an effective Christian and minister, cry out to God fervently through these prayers for a fresh unction because without Him, you can do nothing. He has promised to answer you:

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Jer. 33:3

PRAYER POINTS

5. Thank you Father, because you will never leave me nor forsake me, in the name of Jesus
6. My Father, have mercy upon me, in the name of Jesus
7. Lord in your mercy, forgive my many sins, in the name of Jesus
8. Merciful Father, let your mercy prevail over judgement in my life, in the name of Jesus
9. Mercy of the living God, overshadow my life, in the name of Jesus
10. Dependable God, show me the exact scheme/gift you want me to function, in the name of Jesus
11. My Father, show me the unique Holy Ghost gift in me and how to operate it for your glory, in the name of Jesus
12. My Father, sanctify me and make this gift begin now to speak globally for your glory, in the name of Jesus
13. My Father, grant me full understanding of the gift of my world announcement, in the name of Jesus
14. Powers and principalities causing me distraction through dreams, vision, spoken word etc, be drowned in the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus
15. The gift of God upon my life begin now to produce money for me, in the name of Jesus
16. Spirit of liberty, make me a global image speedily, in the name of Jesus
17. Spirit of liberty, make me a prayer power speedily, in the name of Jesus
18. Spirit of liberty, make me a miraculous wonder speedily, in the name of Jesus
19. Spirit of liberty, give me power to help others overcome their challenges, in the name of Jesus
20. Spirit of liberty, turn me into a fire the world has never seen before, in the name of Jesus
21. Spirit of liberty, give me financial favour, in the name of Jesus
22. Spirit of liberty give me voice of fire now, in the name of Jesus
23. Spirit of liberty, settle me now, in the name of Jesus
24. My Father, I thank you because you always hear me, whenever I call, in the name of Jesus
